KNU hosts Gift of Hope ceremony
Korea Nazarene University hosted a musical celebration for the 49th and 50th homes selected by the Gift of Hope charity program at the school's Patch Hall on March 25. Wallace F. White passed away May 3 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a retired missionary and district superintendent in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. read more

In April 2007, Andres Hernandez accepted a new ministry position as the Spanish Field strategy coordinator in the Caribbean Region. In February 2008, he was named regional education coordinator. read more
D-Vote: Dutch youth service refocuses, continues to see growth
Three years ago, several young people started the D-vote Church of the Nazarene in Zaanstreek, Netherlands. In September 2007, the team decided to re-approach the roots of the service as it was losing its effectiveness as an outreach tool. read more

Christian education, youth ministry converge at Nazarene Theological Seminary
National leadership in youth ministry gathered at Nazarene Theological Seminary April 22-23 to engage in collaborative planning. Youth Ministry professors from five Nazarene colleges and universities joined with Nazarene Youth International leadership and Nazarene Clergy Development to establish a preliminary strategy for collaboration in youth ministry education. VBS Mission Offering Project donations at work
In 2007, the Vacation Bible School Mission Offering Project, “Tumble READ Project,” provided money to translate Bibles and other discipleship materials into the languages of kids who live in difficult-to-reach areas. In addition to this project, other VBS mission offering funds totaling $46,500 were recently distributed to meet various needs throughout the world. read more
