Saenz to serve as interim Caribbean regional director
Luis Carlos Saenz has been elected by the Board of General Superintendents to serve as the interim director of the Caribbean Region until a successor is elected and qualified by the General Board in their February 2011 meeting. Saenz continues to serve also as the Mexico and Central America regional director. read more

NDR seeking aid to help tornado victims
As of June 17, there have been 775 tornadoes reported in the U.S. in 2010 (of which at least 354 were confirmed), with 25 confirmed fatalities. Nazarene Disaster Response has been busy helping churches and districts respond to the aftermath of these storms. read more

NNU granted associate membership by theological accrediting body
Northwest Nazarene University President David Alexander is pleased to announce that the University was admitted as an associate member of the Association of Theological Schools. ATS is a membership organization of 250 graduate schools in the U.S. and Canada that educate men and women for the practice of ministry and for teaching and research in the theological disciplines. Its Commission on Accrediting certifies institutions and approves the degree programs offered by member schools. read more
